1969-1970 Diploma in Pedagogy;

197o-1976 Teacher at a Gymnasium in Freiburg;

1977-1979 Training as Therapist and Mediator ; 1988-1996 Freelancer in Adult Education and work as Therapist;

1995-1998 Lectureship at the Educational University in Freiburg;

1997 Field Research in Israel;

1998 Dr. Paed. Freiburg;

1998 Research Fellow at the Center for Peace Education in Freiburg ;

1999 onwards Managing Director of the Teacher Training Department.


Pedagogical adviser to the German Exchange Service (PAED) in the field of German-Israeli Exchange Programs and of several Foundations in Germany, Europe and the Middle East.
Mediator and Conflict Management Trainer.

International and Comparative Educational Science; Israeli Peace Movement , Peace Education , Education for Human Rights and Democracy; Intercultural Learning, Adult Education

Current Research

 

Current Research: Language Policy in different educational systems of Europe; Linguistic Hierarchies in postcolonial countries, Peace Movement in Israel; Concepts for Intercultural Education.

Several publications, books and articles on Peace Education in Israel, Isaeli NGO`s, Jewish-Arab Encounters, Education for Democracy and Tolerance, Concepts for Teacher Training Programs.
