Ms. Uhl hat a strong background in political science and intercultural
communication. Her areas of interest and knowledge include topics
such as conflict analysis and resolution, diversity, strategies
to counter racism and xenophobia, civil courage, multicultural education,
evaluation of intercultural and diversity education, migration and
integration. She has traveled, lived and studied abroad extensively,
including study- and research stays in the United States and Japan.
Ms. Uhls work experience range from editorial work and positions
as research assistants to intercultural consulting and change management,
workshop facilitation and teaching (political science). She speaks
German, English, French and Japanese.
Katrin Uhl holds a Masters degree in Political Science and Japanese
Studies from the Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen, Germany,
and has pursued post-graduate studies in Intercultural Communication
and European Studies (University of Applied Sciences Fulda, Germany).
She was a visiting graduate student at the University of Washington's
Jackson School of International Studies in Seattle, USA, as well
as at the Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.
