Public Offices Experience

 

Ministry of Justice: Proposed policies on crime prevention and treatment of criminals, September 1991 – April 1992.

National Commission on Truth and Reconciliation. May 1990 – April 1992.

Appointed in 1990 by then-President Aylwin to investigate human rights violations resulting in death or disappearance during the military regime.

As legal Counsel for Participa, since 1992, worked on proposing amendments to the Chilean legal system for increasing the participation of the civil society.

He has written articles on civic education and electoral participation.
