Wolfgang Faenderl, M.A. was born in Munich, Germany in 1962. Since August 2000, he serves as Research Coordinator of "Civic Education and Community Orientation” at the Center for Applied Policy Research, at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Following the completion of his studies in 1990 with degrees in Pedagogy, Social Psychology and Mass-media-Communication.

Faenderl contributed to youth and adult education in these fields as Director of a boarding school, Editor of a children‘s radio broadcast, Project Developer, Facilitator and Moderator in identity-coaching and conflict-management, as well as in gender and intercultural settings.

Additional trainings: Edu-Kinesiology (96), Forum Theatre (97), Betzavta Training (98) Systemic Family Therapy (99), Open Space (01) and Appreciative Inquiry (01)
