The Right to Education Project It is commonsensical, but when it comes to sustainability, education is most likely the human right to promote. The Right to Education Project is part of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the Faculty of Law at Lund University, Sweden. Its a public access human rights resource and the only such site in the world devoted solely to the right to education. Besides providing reports of Special UN Rapporteurs on the human rights situations in specific countries, the project finds education strategies, evaluates educational development projects, and facilitates the exposure of violations of the right to education. Note especially their introductory papers on questions about what the right to education actually means, and whether it is realized in practice. Some intriguing reading not only for educationists. |
