Global Information Networks in Education (GINIE)

The Global Information Network in Education (GINIE) serve as a "virtual learning community" for educational innovation in nations in crisis and transition. They use internet based technology to build up capacities for educational professionals within and across countries. The GINIE networks help educational policymakers, investors, researchers and practitioners to work collaboratively, to exchange experiences, and to inform the public. They focus on the development of long term networks within and across different regions. These networks are intended to share locally created materials and expertise for policy dialogue and professional development.
